Dimensions

In a near-future world fractured by plague, mass migration, and growing political unrest, a destroyer discovers a lifeboat adrift on an empty sea. Inside, between the bodies of her dead parents, sits a little girl. She is alone, yet strangely unafraid.

Rescued and given a home, the child grows up in a world increasingly uncertain of its future. There is something unusual about her, though no one can quite explain what it is. A quiet certainty. An extraordinary compassion. The unsettling sense, in fleeting moments, that there is far more to her than anyone can comprehend.

Two more books complete our first year: a spring of small-town comedy, then a journey to the far edge of the possible.

Seven Horizons

What happens when humanity’s power extends beyond planets, stars, and galaxies—to the very creation of universes?

Seven interconnected works follow humanity up an expanded Kardashev Scale, from managing Earth’s climate to designing reality itself.

A press rooted in rain, fog, and old growth.

Vendolius Publishing is an independent press rooted in the rain-shadowed forests and fog-laced coasts of the Pacific Northwest — a region that has always understood the boundary between the known and the unknown.

We publish what moves us, and we look for writers whose voices could not belong to anyone else.

We publish speculative fiction, science fiction, literary and general fiction, non-fiction, weird fiction, horror, and humor and satire.

Writers, we’re reading.

We read every submission with the hope that the next page we turn will be the one that changes us. If you have written something that matters to you, it matters to us.
